Activates Construction is an award-winning residential developer-builder specialising in premium custom homes and major renovations across Brisbane's Inner North. We are nimble, quality focused and a family run business servicing both clients, and our own projects.

Due to our expanding project pipeline, we are looking for multiple motivated Carpentry Apprentices to commence between now and January 2027.

About the role

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople while completing your formal apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience building luxury custom homes and major renovations across Brisbane's Inner North, developing skills across all stages of residential construction.

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople across the full spectrum of carpentry activities while completing your formal apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of luxury custom and architectural home builds

• Assist in the construction of major renovations and extensions

• General carpentry and construction tasks

• Learning all stages of residential construction

Essential requirements

• Reliable and punctual

• Hardworking and keen to learn

• Able to work well in a team environment

• Positive and able to take direction

• Genuinely interested in a career in carpentry

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Construction Induction Card (also called white card)

• Physically capable of working on construction sites

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia

Highly regarded

• Previous labouring, construction or trade experience

• Basic experience using hand tools

• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to work
