The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Evidentia Group and drive growth across the Queensland market. The role is responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with financial advisers and dealer groups, and promoting Evidentia’s comprehensive suite of investment solutions, with a strong focus on our industry-leading Managed Accounts capability and tailored portfolio solutions

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in business development, sales or relationship management within financial services who enjoys building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver tailored solutions. You’ll work closely with our Research, Product, Marketing, Compliance and Technology teams to understand client needs, deliver exceptional outcomes and support the continued growth of Evidentia’s business across Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Execute Evidentia’s sales strategy across the Queensland market and achieve agreed sales targets
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across financial advisers, licensees and dealer groups
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advisers and key industry stakeholders
• Promote Evidentia’s Evidentia’s market-leading Managed Accounts capability, helping advisers deliver scalable, efficient and client-centric investment solutions
• Represent Evidentia at conferences, roadshows and other industry events
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions and support new business onboarding
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reporting and market insights
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client engagement and support business growth

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in sales, business development or relationship management within financial services
• Established relationships with financial advisers and/or dealer groups
• Strong understanding of financial advice, investment platforms and managed accounts
• Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and build strong internal relationships
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline

Highly Regarded

• Existing relationships across the Queensland financial adviser and dealer group market
• Experience with Managed Accounts
• Experience representing a business at industry conferences and adviser events
• Postgraduate qualification in a related discipline
• An interest in leveraging AI tools to improve sales effectiveness and client engagement
