About the role
ARI delivers professional services in pressure equipment inspection, weld inspection, and Non-Destructive Testing. Our team of experienced professionals are committed to providing high quality, reliable inspection services to ensure the safety and compliance of our clients’ assets. We use state-of-the-art equipment and adhere to industry standards and regulations to deliver accurate, actionable results.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to work within our Port Hedland operations.
The role is based in Port Hedland, Western Australia, with base hours of 38 hours per week and an expectation of occasional overtime, shift work and shutdowns.
We are seeking multiple motivated and experienced individuals to join our team working in the power generation, mining, and fabrication environment.
The role will undertake a range of duties including:
Magnetic Particle Inspection
Ultrasonic Inspection of Welds
Essential Requirements:
ISO9712 Level II Certification in Ultrasonic Testing of Welds
ISO9712 Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing
Previous experience with NDT inspections in accordance with AS/ASME standards
Previous experience working on large engineering projects or in an industrial environment
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities
Understanding of ISO9001/ISO17025 requirements and responsibilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
A reasonable level of health and fitness
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
A current Driver's License
Satisfactory National Police Check
Currently living in/be willing to relocate to Port Hedland
Must be an Australian citizen or have full working rights in Australia
Remuneration:
The field of NDT is broad, with individuals holding various levels of certifications and experience. The remuneration package will depend on individual certifications/skill set. We offer competitive remuneration package for qualified and experienced candidates.
