About the role
A busy specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Glen Waverley is seeking a permanent Part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and managing telephone and other enquiries
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
Managing patient records, correspondence and billing using Genie
Liaising with patients, doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers
General administrative duties to support the efficient running of the practice
About you
Previous experience in a medical reception or specialist practice environment
Some knowledge or previous experience with Genie medical software is preferred
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and compassionate manner when dealing with patients
Good attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Understanding of patient confidentiality and the handling of sensitive medical information
