Head Waiter/ Waitress

About the role
Join the dynamic team at cucinetta' as Waiter/Waitress. This full-time role in North Sydney, NSW requires an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to deliver exceptional service and create a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a key part of our hospitality team, you'll play a vital role in the success of our bustling restaurant.

What you'll be doing

1. Promptly and courteously greeting and seating customers

2. Taking food and drink orders, and communicating these effectively to the kitchen and bar

3. Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely manner

4. Ensuring tables are cleared, reset and well-maintained throughout service

5. Providing attentive and friendly customer service, anticipating and addressing customer needs

6. Adhering to restaurant policies, procedures and health/safety standards

7. Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a waiter, waitress in a hospitality setting, preferred HATTED

2. Must have experience in any full service restaurant environment

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner

4. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

5. Willingness to learn and develop your hospitality skills

6. Food safety and responsible service of alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain)
