About the Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Director who will provide ongoing support and assistance to the Director, Approved Provider and Leadership Team. Be part of a multidisciplinary approach to support both children and families.
You must have a demonstrated ability to lead and guide teaching teams, develop relationships with families and the local community that build and support collaborative partnerships.
Ensure the service is compliant with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and other relevant Legislation.
Demonstrate integrity, proficiency, and awareness through supporting daily rituals and the use of authentic resources.
The successful applicant will oversee team development, performance evaluations, staff scheduling, all elements of service enrolment process and other daily operations to maintain a successful business with a strong understanding of the NQF, NQS, and EYLF.
Qualifications and requirements
Hold a minimum of Diploma of ECEC or higher.
Strong administrative skills are essential for this role.
Experience with OWNA CCMS a bonus - training will be provided
Must hold current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection
Must have an open driver’s licence
Completion of Child Protection Training and demonstrated knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations.
Understanding of and commitment to the Child Safe Standards and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to concerns about child safety and wellbeing.
Willingness to adhere to Sanctuary’s Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Child Safe Environment Policy
