VIT Guide (STEM Specialist)

At Global Village Learning, we do.

We’re looking for an exceptional Guide to join our Entrepreneurship and Social Impact Learning Hub, working alongside learners aged approximately 11-16 as they explore their interests, build real-world projects, and create positive change in their communities. This Developmental Learning Hub focuses on collaboration, community connection, entrepreneurial thinking, and authentic learning experiences where learners take increasing ownership of their learning journey.

This isn’t a traditional teaching role.

You’ll coach, mentor, challenge, and inspire. You’ll help learners develop literacy, numeracy and technology skills through meaningful projects, while supporting them to build confidence, curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration. Our learning is hands-on, learner-led and deeply connected to the real world.

We’re particularly interested in someone who loves STEM.

Someone who gets excited about rolling up their sleeves and creating alongside young people.

One day you might be building and programming a robot. The next you could be designing and testing prototypes with a 3D printer, experimenting with electronics, exploring coding and artificial intelligence, launching drones, investigating renewable energy, or helping learners solve authentic problems through engineering and design. We want someone who sees STEM as something to do, not just something to teach.

At Global Village Learning, our guides are adult supporters rather than traditional teachers. We work alongside learners as they develop agency, mastery and community connection through authentic projects, Learning Huddles, and personalised learning pathways. Our role is to help young people discover what they’re capable of and provide the support and challenge they need to get there.
