Chef / Cook (Childcare Centre)

Clearview Early Learning & Kindergarten is looking for a passionate Chef to join our amazing team!

We are a 77-place, nature-focused early learning centre based in Nerang, with a strong connection to Bush Kindy, health, wellbeing and community.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who would love to:

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children each day
• Cater for allergies and dietary requirements
• Create and maintain healthy, balanced menus for children
• Keep up to date with the Food Safety Program and ensure all food safety requirements are being followed
• Ensure all health, hygiene and nutritional standards are met
• Collaborate with educators to support children’s learning around healthy eating and nutrition
• Run fun cooking experiences and cooking classes within the classrooms
• Be involved in our nature-based philosophy — including cooking experiences around our campfire 🔥

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for cooking and nutrition
• Experience working in kitchens or childcare settings (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding of food safety and allergy management
• Someone warm, creative and excited to engage with children and educators
