About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the City in a newly created Human Resources Business Partner role. As part of the growth of our People, Culture and Safety Group, this additional position reflects the significant investment we are making in our people, leadership capability, workplace culture, and organisational success.
With the People, Culture and Safety Group reporting directly to the General Manager, people and culture sit at the heart of the City's strategic priorities. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to provide practical, people-focused advice, build workforce capability and achieve positive people outcomes.
You'll provide both strategic and operational advice across a broad range of areas including workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, workplace relations, performance management, change management, and leadership development.

You're an experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, influencing outcomes, and helping leaders and teams succeed. You bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach, and the ability to provide practical, people-focused advice in a dynamic environment.
Most importantly, you're passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and contributing to a culture where people feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.
