About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join the [A] Team for this prestigious event.

The four race days we must have full commitment for are:

Sat 31 Oct – Derby Day
Tues 3 Nov – Melbourne Cup Day
Thurs 5 Nov – Oaks Day
Sat 7 Nov – Stakes Day

As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll be working behind the scenes to keep our kitchens running smoothly during some of the biggest days on the racing calendar.

What you’ll be doing:

• 🍽️ Assisting chefs with general kitchen duties and food preparation

• 🧼 Washing dishes, cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen

• 📦 Helping with deliveries, stock movement and kitchen set-up

• 👨‍🍳 Supporting the wider kitchen team wherever needed

• ⚡ Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• 🤝 Being part of a professional and supportive hospitality team

We’re looking for people who are:

• Reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in

• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

• Team players with a positive, can-do attitude

• Well-presented and professional

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
