Assistant Front Office Manager | Pre-Opening & Guest Experience

As we prepare to unveil the next chapter of Ovolo, we're looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager | Pre-Opening & Guest Experience to join our leadership team and help bring our hotel to life from day one.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Front Office leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves being on the floor, and knows that exceptional hospitality starts with genuine connection. You'll be hands-on, visible and actively involved in the opening journey;  from preparing the team and setting operational standards to delivering an effortless guest experience once we open our doors.

You'll be one of the key leaders on property, supporting the Front Office operation and taking ownership of the hotel in the absence of senior management. Working closely across Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage, you'll help ensure every part of the guest journey feels seamless, personal and unmistakably Ovolo.

As part of the pre-opening team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape how the hotel operates from the ground up. You'll be involved in team training and development, operational readiness, systems and procedures, guest journey mapping, service standards and all the exciting details that go into opening a hotel. You'll help build the culture, set the expectations and create a Front Office team that is confident, connected and ready to deliver from day one.

Once the doors open, you'll be right in the thick of it.

You'll lead by example on shift, coach and develop your team, drive upsell opportunities, build genuine relationships with our guests and ensure the hotel operates effortlessly. You'll be the person who knows what's happening across the property, jumps in when needed, solves problems before they become problems and makes sure our guests leave with something worth talking about.

We're looking for someone who already has Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or strong Front Office Supervisor experience, and is ready to take their career to the next level.

You’ll be a natural people leader, an exceptional communicator and someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. You’ll bring energy, confidence and personality to the role, while having the operational capability to make smart decisions and lead a hotel when senior management isn't on property.
