Key Relationships
The Year 10 Coordinator is responsible to the Deputy Principal/Head of
Senior School and the Principal and works closely with Year 10
teachers, students, Heads of House, staff, families and students
Position Objective:
The Year 10 Coordinator is a key pastoral and administrative leadership position within the School. The
position is responsible for supporting students through a significant year of growth, increased independence
and preparation for Stage 1 SACE. The Year 10 Coordinator provides oversight of Year 10 student wellbeing,
academic progress, subject selection, pathway planning and WestQuest participation. The role is charged
with ensuring students are well prepared for the academic, personal and organisational demands of Years 11
and 12 and will involve a teaching component.
