Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive at Plaza Premium Group, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s global expansion strategy. Working closely with the Director of Business Development and international teams, you will help evaluate new opportunities, build commercial business cases, and support strategic decision-making across multiple markets.
Plaza Premium Group is a global leader in travel hospitality, operating airport lounges, transit hotels, dining outlets, and passenger service experiences in over 150 countries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Support· Support the evaluation of new business opportunities through structured due diligence· Assist in developing commercially viable strategies for global expansion initiatives
2. Financial & Business Analysis· Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and business cases· Contribute to commercial feasibility assessments and strategic planning exercises
3. Market & Competitor Intelligence· Conduct research on market trends, competitor activity, and industry benchmarks· Translate insights into actionable recommendations for business growth
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration· Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders· Work closely with cross-functional teams and regional offices to gather inputs for business cases· Ensure alignment of assumptions, priorities, and commercial inputs across stakeholders
5. Commercial Proposal Development· Support the preparation of competitive commercial offers and investment proposals· Assist in creating presentations and submission documents for internal and external stakeholders
6. Data & Performance Management· Maintain accurate datasets and ensure integrity of business information· Support dashboard reporting and performance tracking for key initiatives
7. Ad-Hoc Projects· Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and special projects as required· Support HQ Business Development team across Oceania and other global markets as needed
Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a quantitative discipline from a reputable university· 1–2 years of experience in finance, commercial analysis, consulting, or business analytics· Strong financial modelling and Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint for business presentations· Strong analytical mindset with sound commercial judgement· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment· Comfortable working across multiple time zones and international teams· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
