The Opportunity
Due to growing demand for sustainability advisory services, we have the opportunity for experienced sustainability advisory professionals to join our Sustainability Advisory team.

We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager with previous experience in sustainability advisory, climate-related reporting, ESG strategy, who is passionate about ESG, climate disclosures and sustainability reporting.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional seeking to develop and lead advisory work in the evolving fields of sustainability, climate-related disclosures and non-financial reporting.

In this role, you’ll lead and deliver sustainability advisory engagements across climate risk, greenhouse gas emissions, broader ESG reporting and readiness projects.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering sustainability advisory engagements across a variety of industries and client types.
• Managing the end-to-end process of advisory engagements, from planning to reporting.
• Building a deep understanding of emerging sustainability frameworks (e.g. AASB S1 & S2, TCFD, GHG Protocol).
• Assisting in the development of tools, templates and methodologies for sustainability advisory services.
• Coaching junior team members and contributing to their technical development.
• Collaborating with other service lines and Partners to provide integrated advice to clients.
• Keeping abreast of developments in sustainability reporting standards, climate-related disclosure requirements and assurance practices.
• Contributing to the growth of the firm’s sustainability advisory capability and service offering.

About You:

• Previous experience in sustainability advisory, ESG reporting, climate-related disclosures.
• Strong technical capability and an interest in emerging sustainability reporting frameworks, including AASB S1 and AASB S2, TCFD and the GHG Protocol.
• A practical understanding of risk management, governance, reporting processes and internal controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical advice.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes.
• A collaborative approach, with the confidence to work closely with clients, Partners and team members across service lines.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, sustainability, environmental management or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualification, or a willingness to undertake further professional development in sustainability.
