The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a premium dining environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food experiences that perfectly complement our acclaimed wine program.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining culinary excellence, supporting service delivery, and contributing to the ongoing success of one of Melbourne's most unique hospitality venues.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality at every service.
• Take ownership of your designated section, maintaining organisation, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and service execution.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, rotation, and minimising wastage.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
• Support the training and development of your brigade.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to take the next step.
• Experience within a premium restaurant, wine bar, hotel, or elevated dining environment.
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
