Building Supervisor

JG King Homes, Victoria's largest builder of steel frame homes, is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Supervisor to join our growing Ballarat team.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple homes from pre-site inspection through to completion and handover. You will play a key role in ensuring our homes are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to JG King’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of allocated homes from pre-site through to completion and handover.

• Coordinate trades, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve construction milestones and maintain build schedules.

• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress, quality and workmanship.

• Ensure all construction work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, building regulations and company standards.

• Manage maintenance, defects and rectification works as required.

• Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with customers throughout the building process.

• Identify and resolve construction issues promptly and proactively.

• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements, company policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate construction records and ensure homes progress efficiently through each stage of the build.

About You

We are looking for someone who is experienced in residential construction and takes pride in delivering quality homes and exceptional customer service.

You will have:

• Previous experience as a Building Supervisor within residential construction.

• Sound knowledge of the Victorian volume home building industry.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, building standards and site management.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.

• The ability to effectively manage multiple homes and competing priorities.

• A relevant trade qualification.

• A current driver's licence.
