Willetton Cabinets is a well-established renovation specialist with over 30 years’ experience delivering high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes, and custom cabinetry throughout Perth. We provide a complete renovation service from demolition to final fit-off and are now growing into the new home builder market. As part of our expansion, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Draftsperson to join our team.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson with solid knowledge in Cabinet Vision, CAXA, or equivalent cabinet-making software to prepare accurate shop drawings, cut lists, and machine data for manufacturing.

You’ll be working closely with our sales team, factory, and installation crews to deliver high-quality custom cabinetry solutions across residential renovation and builder supply projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop drawings, 3D renders, and cutting lists using Cabinet Vision, CAXA, or similar.

• Create accurate BOMs and CNC output files for production.

• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

• Revise and update plans according to client feedback or site changes.

• Ensure designs meet relevant Australian standards, site measurements, and production capacity.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a cabinet-making drafting role.

• Proficient in Cabinet Vision, CAXA, or similar joinery design software.

• Solid understanding of cabinet-making construction methods and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of CNC machine integration.

• Trade background in cabinet making or joinery (preferred).
