About the role

The Sydney headquarter is currently seeking a proactive and down-to-earth individual, to work on our vibrant product development team as Electrical Technician. The role will support the product development team with product testing, management of quality control, and customer support. This is a full-time position, in-house training provided but previous similar industry experience desired.

Responsibilities

·         Working in close liaison with product development team, customers, and suppliers

·         Testing new luminaire and lighting control products, issuing test report

·         Troubleshooting product issues in the lab

·         Providing insight feedback to product development team

·         Interface with local and international suppliers (in China) regarding technical topics in test and verification

·         Maintaining & improving test area and instruments

·         Inspection on regular products, issue quality summary

·         Respond customer enquiry and field application support, help customer with fault finding

·         Support technical questions internally

Requirements

·         Tertiary qualification in science, engineering or equivalent

·         More than 2 years’ experience in electronics, lighting, or electrical industry

·         Strong knowledge in electrical and lighting product application (preferred)

·         Proficient in Mandarin, fluent in English

·         Great analytical skills, able to work autonomously, enjoy learning new knowledge, have genuine interest in lighting and electrical industry

·         Excellent hands-on skill, organized, customer focused, good attention to detail

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Computer literate in Microsoft Office (advanced excel is desirable)

·         Current driver’s license

·         Australian citizenship or PR is required
