Dog Walker

We are a well known dog walking company operating in the inner west of Sydney, with our main areas being Newtown, Stanmore, Enmore, Petersham & Marrickville. We’ve been getting busier for some time now & we’re looking for an extra pair of hands…..who knows it could be you!

We focus on group walks of up to 4 dogs at a time in off leash areas. The role requires you to work independently in a company van, driving around picking up groups of dogs from their homes, exercising them, supervising their play and socialisation at the dog park, before getting back in the van and dropping them home again. 

Whilst it’s a fun job for the most part, you must have a high degree of responsibility and be totally focused on the dogs. This is not a job where you have someone constantly peering over your shoulder either, so you must be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.

In terms of hours, we are looking for someone who is available 4/5 days a week with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays required full time at the minimum. Please do not apply if you are not available those days for full days.

• Must be confident handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, preferably with some dog walking/handling experience already but not a show stopper.

• Possess excellent communication skills & is physically active 

• You enjoy being outdoors, despite the elements, rain or shine!

• Have an interest in dog behaviour and/ or experience in handling dogs (either as a walker, vet nurse, doggie rescue centre etc) 

• Have a full drivers licence and a clean driving record

• Must be permitted to work in Australia for at least 18 months.

• Most importantly... LOVE DOGS!!!
