The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Station Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of RoxFM. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the community, working closely with volunteers, sponsors, and local organizations.

Key Responsibilities

•             Oversee the general coordination and administration of RoxFM’s daily operations, including finances, sponsorships, and publicity.

•             Act as the face of RoxFM, liaising with community organizations and representing the station at events.

•             Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, including youth announcers.

•             Manage the station’s website and social media presence, ensuring content is current and engaging.

•             Source new music, manage the music library, and ensure programming diversity.

•             Ensure compliance with broadcasting codes, licensing, and station policies.

•             Prepare and submit monthly reports to the RoxFM Board.

•             Assist with fundraising, grant applications, and publicity campaigns.

•             Oversee technical operations and work with IT providers to minimize broadcast interruptions.

•             Promote and uphold RoxFM’s organizational values in all activities.
