About Aircon Hire Australia
Aircon Hire Australia is a Perth-based temporary climate solutions company specialising in the hire, delivery, installation and servicing of bespoke temporary air-conditioning, cooling, heating, ventilation and refrigeration equipment.
We service a diverse range of commercial, industrial, construction, events and emergency-response clients throughout Perth and Western Australia.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands-on person to join our team in a hybrid Delivery, Logistics & Field Service position.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being out on the road, working with equipment, dealing with customers and being part of a hands-on team.
About the Role
The position will involve a combination of delivery and collection of equipment, field setup, basic equipment servicing, workshop logistics and general operational support.
Your day-to-day duties may include:
Delivery and collection of temporary air-conditioning, cooling, heating, ventilation and refrigeration equipment
Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers
Transporting equipment to commercial, industrial, construction sites
Setting up and positioning temporary climate-control equipment on site
Connecting equipment, hoses, ducting, power leads and associated accessories
Completing equipment collections, pack-downs and returns
Carrying out basic equipment checks, cleaning and preventative maintenance
Assisting technicians with servicing and repairs where required
Workshop organisation, cleaning and general housekeeping
Preparing equipment for upcoming hires
Checking, testing and organising returned equipment
Maintaining workshop stock, equipment and consumables
Assisting with fleet and equipment logistics
Completing delivery dockets, job sheets and basic paperwork (Digital)
Communicating professionally with customers and site personnel
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Following company policy, procedures and instructions
Working both independently and as part of a small team
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, energetic, practical and willing to get involved.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Current Australian/WA driver's licence – manual and automatic
Construction Industry White Card
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Good driving history
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work independently when required
Good time-management and organisational skills
A professional and personable attitude
Good attention to detail
Ability to communicate with customers and site personnel professionally
Physically capable of light to moderate lifting, loading/unloading and manual handling
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Basic mechanical or technical aptitude would be highly regarded
Previous experience in logistics, deliveries, construction, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical or equipment hire would be advantageous, but is not essential

No two days are necessarily the same, and the role provides exposure to a wide range of commercial and industrial sites and temporary climate-control equipment.

Important
This is a hands-on position and is not a purely driving or warehouse role. The successful applicant will be expected to assist with the physical movement, setup, pack-down, cleaning, maintenance and organisation of equipment.
The ability to safely perform manual handling and work in a physically active environment is essential.
