STRAIGHT TO SITE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

Position: Traffic Controller

Employment Type: Casual (with potential for ongoing work)

Locations: Various metro & regional sites

Start Date: Immediate for suitable applicants

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Traffic Controller with STS Traffic, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and compliant traffic flow around work sites. You will work across civil, construction, and infrastructure projects, representing our company with professionalism and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic management devices in accordance with TMPs

• Direct and control traffic using stop/slow bat and radio communication

• Ensure safety for workers, contractors, road users, and the public

• Complete required paperwork, JSA’s, and site reporting as needed

• Work as part of a team to deliver safe and efficient traffic solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Traffic Control Tickets: TMI1/TC1 (minimum)

• White Card

• Full PPE (Hi-Vis long sleeve/long pants, steel caps, gloves, glasses, hard hat)

• Reliable transport to and from site

• Ability to work independently and follow safety instructions

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends when required

HIGHLY REGARDED

• TMI2/TC2

• First Aid Certificate

• Previous traffic management experience

• Ability to work regional shifts or stay-away work (when available)
