About the role

• Manage business analytics and data management 

• Assessment of ingredients and issuance of Halal certificates for products.

• Assist in preparation and submission of government applications for international licences.

• Support in government audit and contribute to the development of compliance documentation that meets regulatory standards.

• Board minute preparation, attend and participate in board meetings with staff, management and committees

• Attend training locally, interstate or overseas.

• Update, Maintain & Develop several registers, forms and templates to ensure the process of Halal certification is a smooth operation and is compliant.

• Audit systems, processes and establishments on an adhoc basis when required

• Continual contact with all clients to ensure compliance and meet their needs

• Systems, Accounts, Office & Records Management

• Support of business functions

Skills and experience

The successful applicant shall have:

• Science Degree (e.g., Biomedical, Chemistry, Biology, Medical, Veterinarian/ Animal Science, Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology)

• Ability to audit and travel overseas.

• Admin experience

• A keen eye for detail with strong analytical skills.

• Able to handle challenges, responsibility and a fast pace, yet sometimes very demanding environment

• Good time Management and have the ability to  handle multiple tasks at one time

• Quick learner and able to adapt to change at any time

• Client Liaison Management and customer focused temperament

• Socially positive and communicative.

• Well rounded and self actualised.

• Must be confident in their ability and with clients.

• Solutions orientated and willingness to problem solve effectively and efficiently

• Able to take direction from authority and is trainable

• Able to be respectful, professional and empathetic towards others

• Can do attitude and emotional maturity

• Must be a reliable, dependable person who is honest and ethical

• A person who wishes to learn a specialised discipline to assist the community

• Highly trustworthy and able to handle sensitive and confidential material

• Computer savvy and literate with above average typing speed.
