The company manufactures insurer-approved insulated panel systems for roofs, walls, and façades, featuring advanced insulation core technology and the Kingzip standing seam system for complex building designs.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in St. Mary's, NSW. The Junior Accountant will assist with daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role will support month-end and year-end closing activities through journal entries, ledger maintenance, and preparation of basic financial reports. The Junior Accountant will help maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and respond to internal queries related to transactions and balances. The position will also involve collaborating with other team members, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, spreadsheets, and basic reporting.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data, documentation, and financial records.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Relevant tertiary qualification or progress toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Ability to learn quickly, take initiative within defined guidelines, and adapt to changing business needs.Familiarity with manufacturing or construction industry environments is an advantage but not required.
