About the role
Senior Planners
PERSOL is one of Australia's largest and longest serving recruitment providers. Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Professional, ICT, Government, STEM, Management and Executive talent.
Our Tier 1 Mining Client is looking for experienced Senior Planners to join a major program delivering complex projects across mining, energy, infrastructure and heavy equipment.
Roster: 5/2 Perth CBD with intermittent site travel
Start date: ASAP
Duration: approx. 10 months - depending on client requirements
Pay Rate: $95.00 p/h + Super depending on experience

The Role:
This is an opportunity to work across a dynamic project environment where priorities can change, activities may not always follow a traditional sequence, and strong coordination across multiple stakeholders is critical to successful delivery.
The role will suit an experienced planner who can combine strong planning capability with a practical, flexible approach.
You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules and support the delivery of complex decarbonisation initiatives from planning through to execution, commissioning and handover.
Depending on the project stream, you may be involved in HME asset delivery, OEM/vendor coordination, resource planning, project interfaces, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Required Experience:
Experience across mining, heavy equipment, infrastructure, energy, construction, renewables or major projects will be highly regarded.
For HME-focused workstreams, experience with heavy mobile equipment, OEM/vendor coordination, asset delivery or commissioning will be particularly advantageous.
