Qualifications & experience

• The ability to adjust and adapt communication and body language to best suit our clients is essential.

• Completed certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent is required.

• Initiative, empathy and the ability to think on your feet is a requirement of the role.

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Open car license and reliable insured vehicle is essential for the role.

• Previous experience is desirable, but certainly not essential for the right candidate.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assisting clients with household tasks.

• Providing personal care.

• Supporting clients to learn new skills, and encourage clients to build on their existing skills and strengths.

• Supporting clients with everyday tasks like grocery shopping and meal preparation.

• Working collaboratively with Allied Health professionals and informal support networks.

• Provide clients with support to safely access the community and engage in meaningful activities.
