The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Crushing Operator to join our team in Far North Queensland. This is a Casual role to start, with opportunity to move to permanent. Ideal for someone who’s hands on, reliable, safety-conscious, and familiar with the demands of remote site work and mobile crushing operations.
For the right person who demonstrates consistent performance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety, there will be opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you’ll operate and maintain crushing machinery, loaders, and excavators as part of a small, capable crew.
We have positions available on both a 10/4 or 2/1 roster with FIFO or DIDO options depending on your location.
Key Responsibilities
Operate mobile crushing equipment, loaders, and excavators
Carry out daily pre-starts, routine maintenance, and repairs (e.g. screen changes, wear parts, cone changes)
Keep work areas clean and safe, including loading zones and conveyor areas
Perform general labouring when needed — clearing blockages, shovelling, and basic site maintenance
Communicate clearly with other operators and supervisors to meet production targets
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe and productive site environment
What We’re Looking For
Current open Australian driver’s licence ( Required )
Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical ( Desirable )
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating loaders and/or excavators in quarrying, or civil work
RII tickets for loader, excavator, and crushing and screening operations experience.
Practical experience around crushing equipment
Good understanding of safety on remote work sites
Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions
A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
