An exciting opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a small and supportive team at start-of-the-art facility based in Virginia SA.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment in a farm/food production environment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults to ensure the smooth and continuous production flow.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
· Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
· Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot to restore operations safely and efficiently.
· Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems, including wiring, control panels, and automation components.
· Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades.
· Assist with shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and project work as required.
What We Are Looking For:
· South Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence is essential.
· Previous experience in farm and food production machinery is highly desired.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work proactively as part of a team.
· Proven experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance.
· Solid fault-finding experience and the ability to respond quickly to breakdowns.
· Experience with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.
· PLC experience would be highly advantageous.

Please note weekend work and public holidays may be required. Call outs and out of hours work may also be required from time to time.
