Forklift Operator

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in a thriving and rewarding organization at our depot based out at Beresfield.

About the Role:

• Ensure all freight is placed and stacked in the designated areas.

• Ensure freight is secured through appropriate use of load restraints such as ratchets, straps,
  ropes, dog and chains as required.

• Operate the vehicle in a manner adhering to the Forklift Operator Code of Conduct.

• Ensure all prestart checks are performed prior to commencing work.

• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace environment by collecting and disposing of loose
  rubbish, general housekeeping duties.

• Assist with other warehouse / transport duties.

• Assist with other duties as directed by management.

About you:

• Valid LF Forklift License.

• Pelletized freight experience is a huge plus.

• Experience loading and unloading trucks with a sound knowledge of Load Restraints and Dangerous Goods 

• Experience working in a team within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and guidelines when loading and unloading products.

• Be able to undertake duties associated with wrapping pallets, manual handling and administration-based paperwork.
