Khmer speaking Home Care Worker (casual)

Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.

We are currently looking for Khmer Speaking Home Care Workers to join our team in the South-Eastern Suburbs (Springvale, Hampton, Cranbourne, Wantirna and surrounding areas).

This is a casual position. Part-time position may be available.

Must have weekday availability.

Role:

You will provide quality care to clients in their own homes.

Duties include:

• personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
• domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
• transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
• in-home respite
• providing companionship

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability or 2nd year + nursing student
• Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
• CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Patient and compassionate nature
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a remote team
• Dedicated, reliable, honest
• Willing to learn and upskill with every opportunity
• Must be able to speak Khmer
