About the role
Immediate opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to review and advise on legal risks in contracts and other commercial dealings to ensure regulatory compliance in a global business.
Key tasks:
Research, review and interpret legislation and case law to ensure regulatory compliance.
Draft and review non-disclosure and other agreements and legal documents as required.
Draft legal advice regarding gaps in compliance.
Research and provide advice on areas of law as required (eg, privacy and data protection law, workplace law, trade law, contract law, tort law, and corporations law).
Discuss, and engage with stakeholders and agents of the business regarding legal and compliance matters.
About you
To succeed you will need:
Bachelor of Law
A proven record, and a very strong ability to analyse and evaluate a broad range of legal and compliance risks across various regulatory regimes that impact a global manufacturing business
Background in contract review including procurement contracts, sales contracts, and confidentiality agreements
Demonstrated legal problem solving skills and the ability to engage in intellectual group discussions in a mature and objective way.
