Housekeeping Team Members – Room Attendants, Public Area & Houseman

We currently have multiple opportunities available across our Housekeeping department, including Room Attendant, Public Area and Houseman positions. We are looking for reliable, service-driven people to join us on a Part-Time or Casual basis.

• Ensure rooms are presented to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness

• Report and rectify damage or faults in rooms immediately

• Ensure furnishings, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair

• Carry out special projects as requested

• Perform cleaning duties including room cleaning and mini services when needed

• Ensure housekeeping trolleys are stocked and prepared

• Undertake housekeeping procedures including lost property, key control, security and emergency procedures, and workplace health and safety procedures

• Monitor and advise the Executive Housekeeping Manager on inventories for operating equipment, chemicals, linen and uniforms

• Maintain WHS compliance on chemical handling and safety procedures, including storage, emergency and fire evacuation

• Display a high level of service at all times

• Communicate with the Executive Housekeeping Manager and Reception on housekeeping matters

• Mentor team members in providing extraordinary service and promoting a positive culture

• Maintain productivity while never compromising on quality

• Maintain appropriate standards of dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and conduct

• Complete all timesheets accurately for payroll

• Hold unrestricted rights to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

• Have reliable transport to attend early morning shifts and varied schedules

Ideally you will bring

• Demonstrated experience in Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning and/or as a Houseman

• Strong customer service skills

• A high level of attention to detail

• A genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences

• Effective communication skills

• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• The ability to resolve guest feedback and challenges professionally
