EEG Technician - Neurology

Job Title:   EEG Technician – Neurology (1 day per week)

Location:    Joondalup WA

Employment Type:  Casual (1 clinic per week)

About us:

We are a specialist neurology private clinic located in Joondalup, committed to providing high-quality neurological care in a patient-focused setting. As part of our growing practice, we are seeking a skilled and reliable EXPERIENCED EEG Technician to join our team one day per week (expanding to two days a week).

Role Overview:

As an EEG technician, you will be responsible for performing EEGs in a clinical outpatient setting. You will be work closely with our neurologist and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Conduct standard EEGs, sleep-deprived EEGs and three-hour long EEGs in accordance with clinical protocols.

·        Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.

·        Ensure safe equipment setup and accurate data recording.

·        Organise maintenance and calibration of EEG equipment as needed

·        Upload and manage EEG data for neurologist’s review.

Requirements:

·        Previous experience in performing EEGs in a clinical setting.

·        Qualification in Neurophysiology or relevant health science degree (preferred).

·        Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

·        High attention to detail and professionalism.

·        Ability to work independently in a small clinical team.

Schedule:

·        One clinic per week (flexible weekday – to be discussed)
