ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver (Laydown Team) to support site logistics, material movement and delivery operations across project laydown areas and construction sites.

This is a remote project position operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Bus transport is currently provided from Sydney only, with various pick-up and drop-off locations between Sydney and the Mudgee region.

Applicants located within NSW outside the Sydney transport route will be required to DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) at their own expense. Please note this is not a FIFO role, and candidates residing outside NSW will be required to arrange and fund their own travel to Sydney or the site if successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating HR vehicles to deliver materials and equipment to site
• Supporting laydown yard and logistics operations
• Loading, unloading and securing construction materials safely
• Transporting plant, tools and general site consumables
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
• Working closely with site and logistics teams to support project delivery
• Maintaining compliance with road rules, site procedures and safety standards
  
  
  Minimum Skills and Qualifications
• Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence essential
• Minimum 2-5 years' truck driving experience (civil construction desirable)
• Experience in construction or project logistics highly regarded
• Strong focus on safety and load restraint compliance
• White Card preferred
• Ability to work in remote, roster-based project environments
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
