About the role:

We have multiple opportunities for new employees to join our team. We are looking for support workers who are flexible, have a range of availability and who have a passion for supporting a range of individuals.

We are seeking disability support workers, who can work in the Templestowe / Doncaster in one of our three supported accommodation homes. 

We are looking for staff who can do: 

• Non active sleepover shifts, from 3 or 4pm to  8 or 9am. 

• Morning shifts - 7am to 9am

• Afternoon shifts - 3pm to 7pm

We require commitment of at least 3 shifts per week.

Your duties will include

• Supporting people to achieve their individual goals in line with their NDIS Plan

• Daily living support, including attending to personal care needs.

• Domestic duties such as vacuuming, laundry and general cleaning.

• Administering medications in line with medication management plans.

• Supporting people to access the community

• Behavioural support, including managing challenging behaviours and behaviours of concern.

• Implementing Behaviour Support Plans (BSP’s)

Mandatory Checks and Licenses

• NDIS Worker Check

• Working with Children Check

• Drivers License

• First Aid Certificate

• Evidence of Covid vaccination certificate

• Two professional references

• Right to work in Australia

• Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience
