As we embark on an exciting series of projects, we are looking for an outstanding Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Class 2 high-rise residential construction, sound knowledge of the Sydney construction market and subcontractor base, and genuine leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all project contract requirements from pre-construction through to completion
• Prepare cost reports and manage large sub-contractor packages
• Read and interpret site and engineering plans; prepare Bills of Quantities
• Draft scope of works, procurement schedules and manage the tender process end to end
• Resolve contractual issues with subcontractors and evaluate/negotiate claims and variations
• Issue variations and manage progress claims for Project Manager sign-off
• Produce payment schedules in line with the Security of Payment Act
• Prepare Deeds of Release on completion of subcontracts
• Collate warranties, certifications, manuals and as-built documentation
• Liaise with the PCA to obtain Occupation Certificate documentation
• Assist with cost projections and forecasting, and overall program compilation
• Physically check completed work on site for claims and payment purposes
• Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
• Manage a team when required and lead from the front
• Maintain confidentiality across all commercial and contractual matters

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified in Construction Management or equivalent
• 4 - 6 years' experience in a similar Contracts Administrator role
• Experience working for a developer/builder on Class 2 high-rise residential projects
• Strong knowledge of the Sydney construction market and subcontractor landscape
• Solid understanding of construction practices and safety management
• Familiarity with Procore and Jobpac
• Ability to manage multiple residential projects simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
