Quest Cheltenham is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Office Reception / Guest Services Agent to join our small, dynamic team on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role within a close-knit environment where teamwork, initiative, and reliability are essential. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting a small team that works collaboratively across all areas of the business.

As a Casual Front Office Reception / Guest Services Agent, you will:

• Welcome and check in guests promptly and professionally

• Respond to guest enquiries and requests efficiently and courteously

• Assist guests with local area information, directions, and general support

• Maintain accurate guest records and process financial transactions

• Work closely with the Sales team to convert accommodation enquiries

• Assist with site inspections, catering, and conferencing requirements

• Coordinate couriers, mail, and maintain office supplies

• Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and professionally presented

• Support team members across operations as required

In our small team environment, flexibility and initiative are essential. You must be confident multitasking, managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 1–2 years' experience in a customer service or hospitality role (front office experience preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional approach

• Excellent time management and organisational abilities

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)

• Experience with any hotel Property Management System (PMS) is required

• Experience with any Property Management System (PMS) is acceptable

• Experience handling cash and processing payments

• A strong commitment to delivering outstanding guest service

• Availability across rostered hours: AM (7am–3pm) and PM (2pm–10pm) shifts

• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Causal hours: Min 3 shifts per week

• Full working rights in Australia

• RSA or willingness to obtain
