Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Wills & Estates Solicitor to join our team.

The Opportunity

This role is suited to a solicitor with 3+ years PAE who is confident managing matters with a high degree of autonomy and enjoys working closely with clients across all aspects of estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation.

You will support clients during what can often be sensitive and emotionally challenging times, providing clear, practical and empathetic advice.

We recognise the importance of flexibility and offer work-from-home arrangements for the right candidate, balanced with time in our Maroochydore office for client appointments, team collaboration and other matters requiring an in-person presence.

You will work alongside a supportive team and have dedicated administrative assistance to help ensure an efficient and high-quality service to clients.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
• Liaising directly with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust Deeds, and other testamentary documents
• Estate administration and probate applications
• Ongoing communication with estate administration clients
• Advising and assisting clients with estate disputes and family provision claims
• Drafting and calculating estate distributions and finalising payments to beneficiaries

About You

You will ideally have:
• 3 years PAE practising in Wills & Estates
• Solid experience in estate planning and estate administration
• Exposure to or experience in estate litigation matters
• Strong technical knowledge of Queensland succession law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A calm, empathetic, and client-focused approach
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
