Take the lead in delivering safe, sustainable and customer-focused tree management services that enhance our city's streets, parks and neighbourhoods at Georges River Council.
Are you an experienced arborist ready to take the next step into leadership? As our Team Leader – Tree Management, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for managing and protecting Council's valuable tree assets across public and private land. This is an opportunity to combine your technical arboricultural expertise with people leadership, ensuring safe, sustainable and customer-focused tree management that enhances our urban canopy and creates greener, healthier places for the community.
In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tree Management Team, providing expert advice on complex arboricultural matters, leading proactive maintenance and tree planting programs, and driving continuous improvement across service delivery. You'll work closely with residents, developers, contractors and internal stakeholders while managing budgets, contracts and operational priorities. If you're passionate about urban forestry, enjoy leading high-performing teams, and want to influence the future of Council's urban landscape, we'd love to hear from you.
