Administrative Wholesale Sales Assistant

We're The Wholesale Hub, a growing Australian wholesale sales and strategy business helping product-based brands get their products onto the shelves of retailers across Australia.

We're looking for an Administrative Sales Assistant to join our small and friendly team on a part-time basis. Starting at two - three days a week.

What you'll be doing

Your days will be a mix of sales support, research and relationship building, including:

• Researching potential retailers and stockists for the brands we work with
• Reaching out to potential new stockists using our provided scripts and processes
• Following up leads via phone and email
• Helping nurture relationships with existing stockists
• Keeping information and sales activity organised and up to date
• Providing general administrative support to our Wholesale Managers when needed

Who we're looking for

You don't need specific qualifications or years of sales experience.

We're much more interested in finding someone who is:

• Friendly, warm and confident communicating with new people
• Comfortable picking up the phone and having a conversation
• Happy working from scripts while still sounding natural and personable
• Organised and able to follow processes
• Confident using basic computer programs and learning new systems
• Reliable and able to manage their time independently
• Genuinely excited about small businesses and product-based brands

Previous experience in sales, retail, administration or customer service would definitely be an advantage, but attitude and personality are really important to us.

Hours & flexibility

The role will initially be two days per week, 9am–4pm, with the potential to increase to three days during our busier periods.

We're flexible around which days you work and, after the probationary period, there is also potential for the role to transition to a work-from-home arrangement.

We're a flexible workplace and care much more about great work being done than being overly rigid about where it's done.
