About the role
Newcastle & Hunter Community Health is looking for a Community Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. Enjoy the opportunity to work with a consistent client base, allowing you to develop strong professional relationships and truly understand each client’s individual needs, goals and preferences. Provide personalised, continuity-of-care while making a genuine difference in the lives of the people you support, visiting them in their home. You'll work autonomously in the field, but you're backed by a supportive team, weekly RN handover, regular team meetings, and a Clinical Care Manager with hands-on clinical experience.
Key responsibilities
Medication assistance, assessment and monitoring
Wound care and wound reports
Intake and continence assessments
PEG and SPC/IDC changes and care
Care planning and reporting
Support our support workers and new team members with the clinical side of client care
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Australian unrestricted driver's licence
Current first aid certificate
Smart phone and internet access
Two contactable manager referees
Confident working on your own in someone's home
Community, aged care, DVA or NDIS experience ideal
Benefits

About us
Newcastle & Hunter Community Health is a local, privately owned provider. Our clients are aged care, DVA, NDIS and private, and we look after them in their own homes across Newcastle and the Hunter. You'd be part of a small clinical team, not a number in a national roster system.
