Come join the Hanks crew!

We’re looking to add another awesome barista to our Armadale team — someone who knows their way around a coffee machine, enjoys a busy cafe and, most importantly, enjoys being around people.

Hanks is all about good bagels, good coffee and making our customers feel at home. You’ll be a big part of that experience, working across the coffee station while getting to know our regulars and working alongside the wider team.

What we’re looking for

• Around 1–2 years’ barista experience

• Comfortable working with a high volume of coffee — around 30kg+ of beans per week

• Confident dialling in and adjusting recipes throughout the day

• Comfortable working independently on bar when needed

• Good understanding of coffee quality and consistency

• Friendly, easy-going and brings good energy to the team

• Enjoys talking to customers and building a genuine rapport with regulars

• Happy to jump in and help across the cafe when things get busy
