Hybrid working flexibility on offer Role Overview Randstad is partnering with various government organisations across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne to find experienced Financial Accountants for short to long-term contract roles ranging from 3 to 12 months.

These hybrid-working roles offer competitive pay between $60-$75 per hour plus superannuation. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Oversee general ledger entries, journal postings, monthly accruals, and fixed asset depreciation. Complete tax returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS), and statutory accounts aligned with local accounting standards. Coordinate internal and external audit processes and monitor internal controls.

Investigate budget variances, track financial trends, and assist with forecasting. Required Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting, or CPA/CA Qualification.

Strong experience working as a Financial Accountant. Proven experience in statutory financial reporting and end of financial year processes. Unrestricted Australian
