Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Advisor in the areas of Reliability Engineering and Asset Management to join our Business Advisory - Asset Management team in Perth.

You will help asset-intensive organisations improve performance, reliability and readiness across critical industry sectors.

With a strong team focus, we’re looking for someone who brings leadership qualities and a mentoring mindset to support the future success of GHD’s Business Advisory Asset Management team.

Working with a high-performing Business Advisory team, you will support clients with strategic advice across areas such as:

• Providing strategic asset management and business advisory support to clients across energy, mining, manufacturing and resources.
• Using data, systems thinking and commercial insight to inform investment, asset and infrastructure decisions.
• Partnering with clients to understand business challenges, shape opportunities and build trusted advisory relationships.
• Delivering clear, commercially focused recommendations that support better decision-making and long-term client outcomes.
• Developing asset management strategies, maturity assessments, business cases, operating model insights and performance improvement roadmaps.
• Contributing to pursuits, proposals and market opportunities that support the growth of GHD’s Business Advisory practice.

What you will bring to the team:

• A degree in Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Experience advising clients in asset-intensive sectors such as mining, manufacturing, resources or energy.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering, asset management strategy and performance improvement.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear commercial insights.
• Exposure to operational readiness, care and maintenance or decarbonisation advisory will be highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and strategic problem-solving capability.
• Commercial acumen and a strong focus on client experience, project outcomes and value creation.
• A proactive, collaborative and professional approach.
• Business development, networking and client relationship management experience.
• Understanding of ISO 55000 and relevant asset management guidance such as IAM, GFMAM or IIMM.

This role will suit someone with a strong advisory mindset who enjoys building client relationships, contributing to growth and mentoring others.

Experience in a Big 4 or professional services advisory environment will be highly regarded.
