Q Industries is an established, Australian-owned lighting manufacturer, designing and building commercial architectural lighting since 2005. We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Assembly worker to join our close-knit warehouse team.

The Role

You'll work across our full product range, with a primary focus on our linear extrusion product. Day to day, this includes:

• Procuring and assembling lighting components and luminaires

• Measuring and cutting aluminium extrusions from shop drawings using our digital saw

• Operating our CNC routing machine

• Internal wiring of LED boards and drivers

• Using battery power tools

• Assembling other products as required

This is an assembly role, not a machinist role, no CNC or Cutting Saw experience is needed but desired. If you've got basic mechanical aptitude, we'll train you on all our equipment. It's a physically active role involving standing and manual handling throughout the shift.

Hours

7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime and Saturday work available during busy periods, no weekend work required otherwise.

Reporting

You'll be part of the warehouse team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, based at our Epping factory.

What You'll Need

• Accurate measuring skills and the ability to read shop drawings

• Attention to detail, with a reliable and methodical approach

• The right to work in Australia

• A forklift licence is desirable but not essential
