Venture Capital Analyst / Associate

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Venture Capital Analyst / Associate to support investment research, opportunity evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio-related activities. The role involves identifying and screening potential investment opportunities, conducting market and industry research, evaluating business models and financial performance, and preparing insights to support investment decisions.Key responsibilities include analyzing companies, markets, competitors, and industry trends; developing financial models and valuation analyses; supporting due diligence processes; preparing investment memos, presentations, and research reports; and monitoring relevant portfolio and market developments. The role also involves evaluating emerging technologies and business opportunities, tracking key performance indicators, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders throughout the investment process.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation, investment principles, and business fundamentals.Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, market research, and competitive analysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial or data analysis tools is an advantage.Ability to analyze financial statements, market data, business models, and industry trends.Strong research, quantitative, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear investment materials.Commercial awareness and strong interest in venture capital, innovation, emerging businesses, and technology.Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
