About the role

Flour Child St Kilda is a busy Italian pizzeria and cocktail bar overlooking Luna Park. We're looking for a passionate and energetic Chef to join our close-knit kitchen team at our St Kilda venue. You'll prepare and cook high-quality Italian-inspired food, working across all sections while maintaining consistency, quality and presentation during busy services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality Italian-inspired food across our menu

• Maintain consistency, quality and presentation during busy services

• Assist with daily prep, stock rotation and kitchen organisation

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Work closely with the kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth service

About you

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen

• A genuine passion for Italian food and hospitality

• Ability to work efficiently and calmly during busy services

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in

• Someone who takes pride in their food and wants to keep developing their skills
