The Role:
We are looking for an Engineer. This role will is suitable for a Graduate up to someone with a few years’ experience. You will work with our team of Engineers to help them to complete their projects whilst giving you experience across many of our projects. You will be learning as you go (if needed) and assisting until you have the required skills to manage projects on your own.
This is a great role for someone who is self-motivated, has a thirst for knowledge and developing, likes to work hard but also has a social and fun personality. It is the perfect role for someone looking to get their foot in the door whilst building their career in the niche of Marine Engineering.

No experience is necessary, you will receive on-the-job training, however we are happy to consider applicants with practical experience
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties would include assisting other engineers perform:
Site investigations (from a boat)
Work scoping
Concept development and sketching
Detailed design and documentation
Compilation of technical specifications
Training and development in a variety of standard engineering methods and procedures
Make decisions and recommendations related to tasks performed, relying upon precedent or defined procedures for guidance
Exercise individual judgement and initiative in the application of engineering principles, techniques and methods
You will be required to do:
Structural analysis
Computer modelling and calculations by hand
Letter and report writing
Communicate effectively (internally and externally)
Work with a senior draftsperson
Work collaboratively alongside senior and junior engineers
