Customer Service Officer 

Grade 10 | Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week
Fixed-Term Contract (Up to 12 Months)

Council is seeking one enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Officers to join our Digital and Customer Information team on a fixed term contract.

As part of our Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and stakeholders, providing high quality customer service across a range of channels including phone, email and face-to-face enquiries. You will also assist with customer requests, community facility bookings and administrative support activities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience delivering high quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Well-developed computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• A positive, professional and team-focused approach.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Experience in local government and familiarity with customer request management systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.
