PARTS INTERPRETER

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Parts Interpreter at Western Toyota, you'll play a vital role in identifying and sourcing the right parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting both customers and the workshop team. Your automotive knowledge and customer-first approach will ensure every interaction is efficient, accurate, and professional.

DUTIES

• Identify and supply correct vehicle parts using catalogues and systems.

• Source parts efficiently through internal databases and suppliers.

• Manage stock levels and maintain organised inventory.

• Process sales and handle customer enquiries professionally.

• Maintain accurate records of stock, orders, and transactions.

• Provide advice on part compatibility to customers and technicians.

• Stay updated on automotive trends and product knowledge.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Customer service experience (automotive industry experience preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Confident using computers and parts cataloguing systems.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional presentation and attitude.

• Valid NSW driver's licence required.

• Toyota parts experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
